I reported directly to Jeanette at Mexx and Mayborn, respectively, during challenging periods for the businesses as a whole and for the HR departments specifically. Jeanette is an inspirational and highly motivating team leader. Her vast senior-level HR experience, unwaveringly high energy levels and her strong, supportive leadership inspired confidence from both her HR team and the wider business.
Jeanette has a real commercial, pragmatic focus and a clear understanding of HR's role in driving business performance. As a result of her leadership, HR was elevated from a largely reactive, back-office, transactional, support function to a strategic business partner, valued by and engaged with the business. She is also great fun - an absolute blast to work for!
